Brian M. Smith, Founder & President
Founder and President of Smith Group Inc., Brian M. Smith, has over 20 years of experience in the mutual fund industry, ranging from serving as a Vice President of Marketing to Executive Director of the MFEA and other trade groups. In 2010 he was named one of the 100 most influential executives in the industry. In his current capacity he is the executive leader of SGI and head of the Marketing department.
Michelle A. Smith, Co-Founder & Executive Vice President
Michelle A. Smith has served over 25 years in the fund industry, having worked as a Vice President of Communications at Twentieth Century Investments (now American Century Investments), Executive Director of the MFEA and as a consultant. She served as the Chair of the Investment Company Institute’s Marketing Committee and has been quoted and featured in numerous financial publications and cable network broadcasts. Currently she oversees business management activities and national media relations for SGI.
Kimber Lintz, Vice President & Head of Client Services
Kimber Lintz has worked for more than 30 years in the investment management and marketing industries. While working at Fleishman-Hillard and George K. Baum, Lintz earned extensive experience in client relations, strategic planning and digital marketing. She is identified as a leading technology and innovation resource in the financial services industry and also serves as the Director of the MFEA.
Timothy Sullivan, Senior Marketing Strategist
Timothy (Tim) Sullivan is a highly experienced leader in the asset management who most recently served as the Vice President of Marketing for Aberdeen Asset Management. He has significant experience in product development as well as brand development and marketing strategy. At SGI, Tim leads a team of talented marketing professionals designing content strategies to reach the RIA marketplace. He also serves as the Associate Director of the Closed-End Fund Association.
