Association Management

The Closed-End Fund Association (CEFA) is the national trade association representing the closed-end fund industry. CEFA is committed to educating investors about the many benefits of unique investment products and to providing a resource for information about its members and their offerings.

The Mutual Fund Education Alliance (MFEA) is the national trade association for mutual fund executives whose companies offer funds direct, through supermarkets or through third parties and financial advisors. 

Executive Councils bring together fund professionals in specific practice areas to examine strategies, exchange ideas and discuss industry trends:

• Digital Council: Focuses on planning and executing digital marketing and mobile strategies
• Distribution Council: Focuses on challenges and opportunities in fund distribution and product management
• Marketing Council: Focuses on strategies of retail and third party marketing, shareholder communications, corporate image and public relations
• Product Council: Explores trends, challenges and opportunities in the critical business area of product management
